Why?

I would recommend one film I like best, 'ShawHank's Redemption'. It is talking about an accountant who was put in prison by trap but finally broke away eternally with his professional skill.

Also for learning material, I would like suggest 'Friends', a popular US soap opera, or 'Prison Break' & 'Lost', which are hot in China now.
