   不知道这个年代还有多少人知道70年代的美国兄妹演唱组合the Carpenters，中文译作卡朋特或卡彭特，也有人称为木匠合唱团。记不起来吗？他们就是《Yesterday Once More》（《昔日重来》）的原唱者。the Carpenters由哥哥Richard Carpenter（理查德）和妹妹Karen Carpenter（凯伦）组成，Richard多才多艺，是钢琴家也是作曲家，编曲家，《Yesterday Once More》就是他和约翰贝迪斯一起创作的，Richard也擅长改编歌曲，常常担任监制和负责作品的键盘部分，出道早期Karen的声音尚未成熟，许多歌是由Richard主唱的。现在我们常听到的卡朋特的歌曲，都是Karen主唱的，她也担任鼓手，与哥哥一起和音。</P><>    1983年2月4日，Karen Carpenter因慢性厌食症引起的心脏病离开人世，至今已经20年了。

   从我第一次听到她的歌声起，Karen的声音成为了我心目中的天籁。许多个夜晚，听着她唱歌，被感动，会不知不觉地流下眼泪。伤心的时候总可以从她的歌声中得到安慰。Karen离开的时候我还没有来到这个世界上，她来自我不熟悉的时代，不熟悉的地方，我对她不够了解，但她在我心里占据了重要的位置。
    每个人都会有喜欢的歌手，Karen是我很爱很爱的歌手，所以想在这个日子试着为她做点什么，想让跟多人了解她，喜欢她。
