Hayley Westenra的这首<Amazing Grace>是她2003年首张专辑"Pure"的主打歌（2003年正好是Jolin出<看我72变>的时候，呵呵，两个人是多么不同啊），没想到这个出身于新西兰基督城教堂唱诗班的小歌手，第一张唱片便一炮打响，一举冲入英国当年度流行音乐榜和古典音乐榜的前几位。

Hayley虽然出第一张唱片的时候才15岁，但是她却并非是一个流行歌手，属于歌剧女高音，走的是古典音乐路子。不过现在乐坛流行跨界，因此Hayley很快也在流行歌坛红了起来，并被封为又一个“天籁之音”。从2003-2008的几年中，Hayley连续发了6张专辑，并举办了演唱会。不过她的演唱会都是在歌剧院、大教堂进行的，呵呵。

Hayley的嗓音和唱腔类似于萨拉布莱曼，很多人觉得她有望成为萨拉布莱曼的接班人。不过我以为他们两人的嗓音还是有很大不同的。萨拉的声音有点轻、飘，Hayley则比较亮、沉；萨拉偏流行，Hayley偏古典。
