<P class=MsoNormal>HONG KONG – Jackie Chan's latest film "Shinjuku Incident" will have its world premiere at this year's Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF), according to sources close to the production. </P>
<P class=MsoNormal> </P>
<P class=MsoNormal><SPAN></SPAN>Pic, about a Chinese immigrant in 1990s Japan who finds himself embroiled with the Yakuza, is skedded to open the festival ahead of its Apr 2 Hong Kong theatrical run.</P>
<P class=MsoNormal> </P>
<P class=MsoNormal>The film, which cost upwards of $15 million, was produced by Emperor Dragon Movies, a new subsidiary of Emperor Motion Pictures (EMP). EMP has already sold Singaporean rights for "Shinjuku" to distrib Scorpio East (Variety, Mar 4, 2008). </P>
