和英文较上劲了——记忆我的演讲

今天整理英语复习资料，无意中发现了一篇演讲稿，是去年参加一个英语口语班的学期作业。当时随意选话题，我就想到静蕾，后来无意间在静盟发现一篇摘自《中国妇女》海外版写她的英文文章，于是近水楼台，捡了个大便宜，改编成了这篇演讲稿。事关静蕾，马虎不得，最后脱稿演讲，凡响还不错，宣传静蕾，展示自己，感觉好极了。
最近因为考级，一连沉在英文里，楞是看英文比看中文顺眼。再加上近来论坛上时常有英文，看着上瘾，还嘀咕着哪天也换种语言写写老徐。材料的来源就是当初静盟的一篇文章，经过不才的编辑打理再现静盟，也算是“落叶归根”吧。

Honorary Health Envoy
Before beginning with my subject, I’d like to ask you a question. How many of you know the actress Xujinglei? Of course not everyone. It doesn’t matter. I’ll talk something about her now. She is my favourite film star.
Xujinglei is well-known as her healthy and clean image. Just because of it , she was conferred the title of “Honorary Health Envoy” by the media.
When asked wheather her clean and healthy image gives her a big chance in winning audiences’ favor, she gave a straight forward answer. “My image does win me a great deal of opportunities. Every actress or actor has to rely on image. Personally, I don’t think I’m very beautiful,and it is only because the time haved changed that people’s idea have changed to think that healthy, dark and thin girls like me are beautiful.”
As far as health is concerned, Xujinglei thinks that people always pay more attention to physical health when in fact psychological health is also important. She thinks that no matter how old one is, she or he should keep oneself healthy and be eager to learn new knowledge.
I have read a story in a newspaper before. A customs officer examined her passport. He just could not match the person in front of him with Xujinglei—the name he knew so well. Finally he said:“You look so common in the crowd.” In Xu’s opinion ,these kinds of comments don’t bother her, she just like to be true and real. She reports that she dose not put particular stress on make-up. It remind me of her rule for choosing fits—if it suits me well, then it is fine.
Sometimes I think the question why I like her so much.. Maybe the roles she acts attract me.,but the key attracttion is the charm herself owns. In a word, she is competent for the title “Honorary Health Envoy”.


忘不了当初讲完后的那个幸福表情。还记得后来有人问我是不是口语班上讲徐静蕾的那个女孩子。
而今再看，发现当时真是偷懒，值得说的还有太多太多。好在内容已经不那么重要了，今天重拾的不是一篇文章，而是一段回忆，一份心意。

呵呵，还是凡姐姐厉害。我都不太好意思说了，上次在口语课上的演讲我用的是流星姐姐帮忙写的一篇改写的稿子，实在是没什么头绪用另外一种不精通甚至陌生的语言来写徐，更怕写的不好。就拜托姐姐写了一个，然后把自己有的一些徐的东西全展示了一遍。我们的外教对徐居然很感兴趣，给我的评价是“good job”、给她的评价是“a beautiful girl”。不管他是否真心称赞，我都十分感谢。六月中旬他要回美国可能就不回来了，我正在想要不要送两张照片给他做纪念，一张是在上个月的经管系晚会上他表演时帮他拍的，另外还想送张徐的照片也好让他带回去做个宣传[em04][em07]
