这次预告片清晰地展现了月球基地阿鲁斯的全貌,从预告片中的一句台词可以看出,斯考特已经不在乎艾丽儿倒底是人类还是因维德人了,他的心结终于解开了.

文斯格兰特上校的配音第一次出现.瑞金斯的配音也出现了.

远征军对地球上的因维蜂房发起了进攻

顺便透露一点暗影编年前传漫画的剧情.

议员甲：Can't you see a gift when you've been handed one?using the neutron s missiles to wipe out the INVID on EARTH could allow us to spare the lives of countless Expeditionary Force troops!
难道你看不见你手上已经拿着的礼物了吗？用中子S导弹来消灭地球上的因维德人可以让我们避免大量的远征军战士的伤亡。

议员乙：But at what price? they could destory all life on Earth .Life under the Invid is still life, isn't it?
但是付出的代价呢？它们能摧毁地球上所有的生命，在因维德（统治）下的生命仍就是生命，难道不是吗?

议员丙：We've gathered intelligence that the Invid are actually using humans for horrific experiments .do you call that living?
我们已经收集了情报，那些因维德人实际上用人类来进行可怕的试验，你把那个叫做生命？

莱因哈特：Officers!the invid are using the resources of earth against us to harvest the flower of life, protoulture...even our own people, i have never seen a better candidate for the application of scorched earth tactics.if we dont take back the earth and cut off their resources now,what's to stop them from eventually moving onto our colonies on the moon,mars,and the rest of the universe!?

瑞克： I've held idealistic hopes for peace since my youth.but it's always been more difficult to put such principles to practice.
年轻以来，我一直都对和平持有唯心主义观点。然而把这些原理付诸于实践则更难。

莱因哈特：Peacetime has plenty of room for idealists,but we're at war. there are only victors and losers here,right now, our very survival is at stake.

瑞克： Very well, General Reinhardt will amass all available expeditionary forces at moon bace aluce for an attack on the main invid hive at reflex point. if we can't defeat the invid with the new shadow technology,we'll have no choice but to use the neutron s warheads as a last resort. but only if we're facing complete annihilation ourselves.
很好，莱因哈特将军将会集中月球阿鲁斯基地上的所有远征军，对反射点上最主要的因维德蜂房发动进攻。如果我们用最新的暗影技术都无法打败因维德人的话，那我们别无选择只能使用中子s弹头作为最后的杀手锏。

瑞克： Before we're forced to make that decision, i want to see what these warheads can do myself. we'll have one of the missiles be test-fired in deep space.
在我们被迫做出那个决定之前，我想亲自看下这些弹头能干什么，我们将会在外层空间对其中一枚导弹进行试射。

瑞克： I pray we wont need them。you have my orders

最后:第二部的主角戴娜出人意料的露脸了,而且还极有可能出任骷髅飞行队队长(福克的在天之灵，保佑骷髅队的队员们吧)

另外：当凯伦潘问瑞克关于骷髅队队长的事时，瑞克回答了一句：there's more than one STERLING who can lead the skull squadron...这句话说完后，镜头就切到了dana与新人maia相遇，再考虑到金和声之前放出风声说maia是第一部中某个重要人物的后代，因此目前国外论坛许多人认为maia是dana的妹妹
