这部影片是你执导的第二部影片，那么编剧和主演的工作对你而言意味什么？

演员作为我的事业已经积累了一定的经验，导演才是第二次，还是处于不断学习的过程。
做演员的时候，会去想“这样感觉对吗？” 而自己做导演的时候，可能自己感觉不到，会在拍完后自己看自己的演技，也有自己不满意的地方，那时助理导演会给些建议。--为什么想到会拍这部影片？

10多年前读过茨维格的原作《一个陌生女人的来信》，印象已经很模糊了。那时讨厌那个男的，觉得这女的挺可怜的。过了10多年再看一遍，这次对男的这方没什么感觉，却很想描写女的那种挚烈的爱。影片的女主角，长年不能从他那里得到爱，那会是怎样的心情呢？

的确很想的事情做不到，只能从远处看，即便有短时间在一起的情爱，但也不是她所需要的，想要从他那里的到挚烈的爱，想要从他那里的到长久持续的爱　男主角的扮演者姜文是在中有名气的明星，为什么会选他演对手戏？

因为姜文长的不英俊，为什么用他，在圣塞巴斯帝安也问过同样的问题，我想姜文内在的气质对女性来说更有魅力。
现在有下一步的计划吗？

已经有了想法，但现在还不能说，也不知道会不会是中日合作的方式。　--这次来日本玩的好吗？

「这次时间不多，没有四处玩。因为“陌生女人来信”的后期是在日本做的，那时能有时间到处转转。
